“Satellite Healthcare’s newest and most innovative kidney care center in the Blossom Valley area of San Jose was built with a focus on patient comfort, quality of care and physical durability,” said Frank Jesse, Vice President of Real Estate & Facilities.
One of the most noticeable features of the new facility is the center’s aesthetic. Satellite commissioned San Jose-native photographer Emilia Beddo Barozzi to capture pastoral scenes, landscapes of the community, and portraits of actual Satellite patients and staff in a patient-centered artistic approach.
With a focus on patient comfort and safety, the center includes dimmable lighting for patient areas, as well as large, flat-screen televisions with remote plastic casings that are changed and cleaned for each patient to decrease infection incidences. All the while, the center complies with professional facility standards in nursing station areas.
When it opens later this month, Satellite Healthcare Blossom Valley will provide life saving dialysis care to more than 400 patients each week.
Join Satellite Healthcare and neighbors at the Princeton Plaza Mall to celebrate the center opening and Satellite’s mission of making life better for those living with kidney disease.
