The Nephrology Nursing Journal has published a Satellite Healthcare study, 'The Peritoneal Dialysis Transfer Set Replacement Procedure'. This study has demonstrated that using a revised transfer set replacement procedure that eliminates the use of the post-procedure bag exchange decreases nurse and patient time, and decreases cost without increasing peritonitis rates.
