We continue to make progress in ensuring safe and effective care for our patients on dialysis in the setting of our current pandemic. This is a long, ongoing and uncharted journey. As the data and science that informs our approach to COVID-19 evolves, so to do our practices.
This month we will begin to gain operational experience with serologic testing for SARS-CoV-2, further refine our approach to telehealth in both the home and in-center settings, and gain a deeper understanding of the implications of COVID-19 for hemodialysis patients from the published literature which we summarize below.
